The Country Doctor 1986 One of Pershing’s largest walnut woodcarvings, it is also the only large woodcarving on public display. Commissioned by the hospital, this sculpture remains on permanent display at the Central Wyoming Medical Center in Casper, Wyoming.
Chief Washakie This heroic-sized bronze statue is a portraiture of the famous Shoshone Chief, Washakie. It was dedicated in 1996, just shortly after Pershing’s death. It is located in Casper, Wyoming, with a second piece located at the Washakie Museum in Worland, Wyoming.
The Homesteader This heroic-sized statue depicts the strong, rugged individual who settled, cleared, and tilled the land, playing a vital role in the history of the west. The Homesteader was dedicated in 1979, in Casper, Wyoming.
